Hamish’s career started in sports photography. This gave him the experience to capture the moment under pressure. There are no retakes in live sport. A moment happens once and then is gone forever.

As well as photographing some of the most famous names in sport, Hamish has photographed some of the biggest events; Olympics, Ashes Cricket, AFL Grand Finals, Champions League Football and Commonwealth Games to name a few. Whatever your photographic requirements, you can be confident Hamish has the experience and composure to get your image.

For a number of years working with renowned agency Getty Images, Hamish’s photography also involved working with governing bodies, sponsors and commercial partners as well as photographing countless portraits of athletes and officials. This has given Hamish a broad foundation of photographic experience. He knows the shot you need.

Hamish’s career has seen him spend over 10 years following the Australian Cricket Team around the world. He also spent 4 years based in England, regularly sent on assignment throughout Europe as well as thriving in the competitive London market.

From cricket in Zimbabwe and Mumbai or soccer in Slovakia and Rome to air racing in Brazil and New York, his photography has seen him travel the globe. Hamish is now settled back at home in Melbourne with his wife Karen and ready to put his experience to your project.
